Diving at Dahab |

|
The dive sites in and around Dahab are known as one of the most beautiful ones in the whole world.
In Dahab shore diving trips are offered predominantly. The
drives to the dive sites are usually done by jeep. The DiveIN organises half-
or full-day trips.
Currents are rare and run
usually at Dahab’s dive spots from north to south. |
|
The dictance between Dahab’s center and the DiveIN is approx. 1 km - an acceptable distance for a cosy walk along the beach.
Taxis for transfers are present at any time and
charge a little fee only.
Our German and English-spoken team
guarantees that even with larger crush the small group-concept is kept up
(max. 6 people). |

Directly in front
of the the hotel and the dive store are for example the "Isands",
one of the most beautiful snorkel and dive sites in and around Dahab. A small piece of it
continues to extend to the "Lagona" with its extensive sand beaches
and beautiful view of the Sinai mountain massif.
By the way: in the aerial
photograph (left) the DiveIN is to be seen. It is the first hotel plant at
the lower right edge . |

It is
our highest principle to give our guests an always friendly and individual
support. All dive guides have at least divemaster level and are completely
familiar with the dive sites around Dahab. With each group a first aid box,
oxygen equipment, a spare equipment, a mobile telephone and a repair set
is carried to the dive spots. In the south,
the breaks betwen the dives will be enyoed under the palm trees of an oasis,
in the north they will be held in small restaurants with the chance to have
e.g. a tea and local as well as european food. |

The
area around Dahab offers a large number of fantastic dive sites. Each one is
different, all are fascinating.
Some examples of Dahab’s
northern area: Bells, Blue Hole, Canyon, Canyon Garden, Table, Abu Talhal,
Ras Abu Galum etc.
In the local centre of Dahab you find e.g. the Lighthouse and the Eel Garden. South of Dahab the Islands,
Napoleon Reef, Um Sid, Caves, Triple Pool and much more dive spots can be
found. |
|
|
The best known dive sites are undoubtedly the Canyon, the famous Blue Hole and the Dahab Islands. Since Dahab remained to a large extent exempted from the effects of the mass diving tourism so far, the splendourful coral reefs of the Red Sea are still intact here.
Enjoy with us one the last intact divers paradises of the Red Sea - leave nothing but bubbles, kill nothing but
time… |
|
Not
far of Dahab are further highlights: Ras Mohammad, the Staits of Tiran or the
wreck of the Thistlegorm are among the best and most attractive dive sites
around the world. The DiveIN team organizes regularly boat tours or safaris
to these dive spots. A further highlight are our regular camel safaris into
the national park of Ras Abu Galum. Come and enjoy with us a very special dive experience. Please find more information at our [Dive site description].
