Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) - for advanced divers |

The
AOWD course is the continuation course for all OW divers. During this
course you learn among other things important diving specialities like
navigation, night and deep diving. |
|
The two-day AOWD course can be boked directly after the Open Water course. The PADI Advanced Diver certification will give you the skill and experience you need to participate in different types of diving. It consists of 5 theory and 5 open water sessions in different specialty diving techniques. The two compulsory specialties are a deep dive and a navigation dive. For the remaining three dives you can select from a wide range of the PADI specialty program, e.g. Drift Diver, UW Naturalist, Search & Recovery, Multi-level Diving, Boat Diving or Perfect Buoyancy. The Advanced course can easily be combined with a boat trip. |

Besides an amplification and a an enlargement of your diving knowhow, the cooperation with a skilled dive guide will improve your diving technique absolutely. So you are more safe, relaxed and have more fun while diving. |

Requirements: |
PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver, other certifications on request; medical statement (not older than one year); 2 passport photographs; consent (signatures) of a parent or guardian for minors; minimum age: 12 years. |

Course contents: |
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is made for every diver, who wants to get more experience and a higher level certification. It comprises one dive in confined water for checking individual diving experience, five open water dives, five modules of theory. |

Lagoona: check dives to refresh/review open water skills and equipment use in preparation for the open water training. |
|
|
Open water dives and theoretical training: two compulsory dives, a navigation and a deep dive have to be performed in accordance with PADI Standards. Before each dive the participant receives theory instruction and a comprehensive briefing for the subsequent activities. |
|
In addition to the compulsory navigation and deep dives you can choose from a large range of specialties, dependent on local conditions: night, search & recovery, drift, boat, UW-naturalist, UW-photography, multilevel and wreck dives. Boat and wreck dives can be done only in combination with a boat trip, all other specialties can be combined with a safari. |
