If you have done your PADI Open Water and Advanced courses you are now ready to start thinking about looking after other people in a diving situation. The rescue diver course will teach you basic rescue skills: essential knowledge for more experienced divers. |
It is also the final stage of education necessary to enter a PADI Divemaster course. To learn about responsible handling of oneself as well as others is the most important goal of this course. Based on the skills acquired, the aim of the rescue course is to allow the participant to learn to handle possible problem situations effectively. The Rescue Diver Course will give you a valuable experience in emergency handling and prevention and will sharpen your awareness of the surrounding environment. Among other things you will learn many different rescue skills for emergency situations under water, at the surface and at the shore. |
